How many weeks is the New Member registration course?

It is an 8-week course.

After the first week of the registration course, where will the next week's class be held? I would like to know the service and its time.

For the lecture building, services, and times, please refer to the service information on the Onnuri Church website (www.onnuri.org) or page 2 of the Yangjae bulletin.

How long is the New Member class? When should I attend a service?

It begins at 10:30 AM and ends at 11:20 AM (the same every week). You may attend the 2nd Service and then the class, or attend the class and then the 3rd Service. (Any service is fine.) Because the adult service at the Dogok Education Center is held only at 9:00, please attend the 9:00 service and then receive guidance from the New Member team. The New Member team always waits for new members in the lobby after the service.

I skipped a week in the middle and attended the next week's class. What should I do?

For example, if you attended Week 1 and Week 3, you must be sure to attend Week 2 the following week. You must complete Weeks 1-4 before you can be connected to One-on-One in Week 5. At Dogok, from Week 2 onward only one session is held per week, so a session you missed will be held again 3 weeks later, and you may attend then.

I completed Week 4, but my connection to One-on-One in Week 5 is delayed. How can I check?

You can check by asking the One-on-One staff member at the Pastoral Support Office.

Who becomes my mentor for One-on-One Discipleship?

Your community matches you with a One-on-One mentor. At the Dogok Education Center, the principle is that the community matches the mentor. However, if you would like to be paired with the person who invited you or someone you know well, please come to the Pastoral Support Office, tell us, and fill out the necessary forms.

How should I plan the discipleship I need?

Please refer to the iSchool website (www.ionnuri.org).

How are general adult New Members distinguished from College & Young Adults?

Adult New Members are assigned to a community by region, based on the address where they currently live, whereas College & Young Adults may choose the community they prefer.

How is the Bridge Community organized?

It is made up of unmarried men and women between the ages of 33 and 49 (international age).

How can I be baptized?

After completing the 8-week registration course, you can receive baptism education and the baptism interview. For details, please apply at the Pastoral Support Office.

What should I do after completing the 8-week registration course?

The Welcome Feast, which marks the end of the registration course, is held once a month on the third Sunday. You will meet the community's pastor, Elder, and general secretary. You should also continue One-on-One Bible study with your mentor until the end.

Is there another course for New Member registration?

Yes, a registration course is also offered after the 6th Service, the Open Newcomers Service.

What should I do if I want to move to another community?

At the Pastoral Support Office, fill out the transfer-in and transfer-out application for the community of that region, and then it will be processed administratively.
