Bucheon
How many weeks is the new member registration course?
It is an 8-week course.
After the first week of the registration course, where is the class held the following week? I would like to know the service and the time.
It is held in the New Member Room on the 3rd floor. For the service and time, please refer to the service information on the Bucheon Onnuri Church website (bc.onnuri.org) or page 4 of the Bucheon bulletin.
How long is the new member class? When should I attend the service?
Week 1 of the new member course runs 10:40~11:10 / 13:00~13:30. Weeks 2~4 start at 10:40 AM and end at 11:20 AM. You may attend the 2nd Service and then the class, or attend the class and then the 3rd Service. (You may attend any service you like.)
I skipped one week's class and attended the next week's class. What should I do?
For example, if you attended week 1 and then week 3, you must attend the week 2 class the following week. You can only be connected to One-on-One in week 5 after completing all of weeks 1-4.
I have completed week 4, but my One-on-One connection in week 5 is being delayed. How can I check on it?
You can check by contacting the One-on-One staff member at the Ministry Support Office.
Who becomes the mentor for One-on-One Discipleship?
Your community matches you with a One-on-One mentor.
How do I plan the discipleship I need?
Please refer to the iSchool website (www.ionnuri.org).
How are adult new members and college/young adult new members distinguished?
Adult new members are assigned to a community based on the area where they currently live, while college students and young adults can choose the community they prefer.
How can I be baptized?
After completing the 8-week registration course, you take the baptism class and the baptism interview. For details, please apply at the Ministry Support Office.
What should I do after completing the 8-week registration course?
The Fellowship Feast, which concludes the registration course, is held once a month on the third Sunday. There you will meet the community's pastor, elder, and general secretary. You should also continue your One-on-One Bible study with your mentor through to the end.
What if I want to move to another community?
You need to fill out a transfer-in & transfer-out application form for the community in your area at the Ministry Support Office so it can be processed.
